The lion was first developed in 1974, when an Arabian prince commissioned a golden lion (see "Old Friends" for a picture). Further pieces were made in this colour until the 1980's but today it is only available in our trade mark mahogany brown.

Our lion is an impressive piece with his full leather mane which is hand dyed, cut and stripped before attaching to the main body of leather. This size is slightly tall for  use as a footstool but can be used as an occasional seat.
