The trunk up version of our medium sized elephant was introduced in 2001 for those who prefer a "trumpeting" elephant. The tusks are made from ivory leather and the ears are edge with wire to keep them "flapping"!. This size can be used as a footstool or occasional seat.

This medium sized elephant with his trunk pointing downwards is suitable as a footstool or occasional seat. The tusks are made from ivory leather and the ears are edged with wire to keep them "flapping"!

The elephant was designed by Dimitri Omersa in the early 1960's and sold exclusively through Liberty's until the mid 70's. The words "LIBERTY OF LONDON" can be found embossed on the inside of the ear of these older pieces. For a picture go to "Owners Club" where there is a picture of Ellie, a "Liberty" elephant.
